Jhuma Panda is a Mumbai-based housewife who completed her Masters in Political Science and International Relations in 1987. Soon after, she married and moved to Cleveland, USA, before returning to India a few years later.
She settled back in Mumbai in 1992 to raise her son and daughter with Indian values. Once they became independent, she began devoting herself to spiritual practice and the study of religious philosophies that have shaped the last fifteen years of her life.
She began writing this memoir during the lockdown, weaving it patiently between family responsibilities, the care of elderly parents, and frequent travels.
